WHAT’S WORKING 🧐

  1. Metaphor: The connection between weather and clothing is intuitive. It’s a common app that consumers are familiar with so the ad perfectly plays off this by associating each city with a different sweater or top, subtly suggesting that no matter where you are or what the weather is, Paloma Wool has something appropriate for you. Again, very relevant for large SKU brands.

  2. Colour Palette: The colors and patterns of the garments are eye-catching and help with standing out on the feed.

HOW TO IMPROVE? 👨‍🔧

  1. Product Visibility: This ad itself is a great ad for a customer in the un-aware stage. Shedding some light on what this brand does and the collections they have available, but chances are that this converts is very slim.

WHAT’S WORKING 🧐

  1. Comparison: Increasing retail sales and awareness is all about comparison. Show what’s on the shelf vs what your product looks like. The goal is essentially to “shit” on your competitors visually without actually mentioning it.

  2. Location: The second part to success is showing where in the retail store you are located. A lot of our content our creators shoot is showing where our brands are shelved in the store so it’s easier to access those locations.

WHAT’S WORKING 🧐

  1. Humour: It’s the perfect time to educate and also add some humour into showing why your product is a no brainer. A lot of brands feel like they need to be on “brand” but this is your time to stand out and connect with consumers and provide some edutainment.

  2. Creativity: You want to avoid using popular memes that are on the market and focus on re creating your own through unique content. Use people from your team or even the founder themselves to re create a popular meme like the one above.
