✍🏽 Extreme Hook

WHAT’S WORKING 🧐

  1. Attention Grabbing: The hook immediately grabs the attention of the user the brand wants to talk to. Super important to make sure you’re able to attract the right person you want to talk to within the first 3 seconds.

  2. Native: The text + slang is very native to the platform making it more familiar for a user to engage with and watch versus something that seems more ad like.

✍🏽 Collection Ad

WHAT’S WORKING 🧐

  1. Color scheme: Color plays a massive impact of how a creative is viewed on the feed. Use of a natural and earthy color palette here aligns with the outdoor, nature-loving brand identity. This choice can potentially attract consumers who are environmentally conscious or who prefer understated, natural colors.

  2. Emotional Appeal: The lifestyle images evoke a sense of adventure, relaxation, and enjoyment, which can emotionally connect with the audience. Emotional appeal is a powerful tool in marketing and will help potential customers visualize themselves using the product in similar enjoyable scenarios.

HOW TO IMPROVE? 👨‍🔧

  1. Headline: Title is quite vague, instead of mentioning just the product would be good to have an enticing headline such as: “The shorts for any adventure”.

✍🏽 Founder Ad

WHAT’S WORKING 🧐

  1. Founder: Being the ad is directly from the founder it allows the customer to get a behind the scenes look into why they started the brand and what they’re actually solving.

  2. Story-telling: You can have a founder ad but without a good script and storytelling it’s difficult to execute on.

This type of ad usually is quite high production but there are multiple ways to work around this.

I’ve had clients record similar type of concepts through loom videos on their laptop or keeping it as simple as recording on your iPhone and walking around the factory.
