  1. Humour: Humour can be a powerful tool in a boring world of SaaS marketing. The Bible App does a great job of using a “negative review” to attract attention on a subway advertisement.

Very easy to execute, make a review that showcases how easy/good your product is but showcase it in an angle that seems like they are complaining.

WHAT’S WORKING 🧐

  1. Organic: These types of content usually see the highest engagement for brands coming from their profile. One thing I’m a huge fan of is how you’re able to build both the brand awareness and push a product placement in the video at the same time.

Street interviews are great for new brands who want to be more public about their brand and get awareness out fast. Take your product out there, ask questions specific, get real time feedback and record the whole process and use that as your content engine.

  1. Hook: Capturing your first 3 seconds are important, yes. But as a marketer you need to combine that with a strong message. This Ad builds strong curiosity at the start which allows them to then go build a story after having a hook that gets the users attention through the slicing of a dessert.

Regardless of your product you can find a way to build curiosity in the first 3 seconds to gain the right customer base for your ad.

One important element to think of during your scripting phase is to make sure during those first 3 seconds you capture the attention of the “right” customers versus getting the attention of the general public.

Do this by having relevant props or actions in the hook versus creating click baity content which will capture the wrong people.
